Hidden Fastening System

Trex Hideaway is our black, stainless steel fastener exclusively designed for the grooved Trex Brasilia^® product line. We have partnered with Tiger Claw^® to develop a proprietary system that delivers a fast and easy installation process that allows for a clean, superior, fastener-free deck surface.

Trex Hideaway features two unique clips:

Start/Stop Clip: For use on perimeter boards	Connector Clip: For use between deck boards

The Start/Stop Clip is the first clip available in the market that allows for the entire deck surface to be installed without the use of any surface fasteners.

• 0.75 Start/Stop Clips needed for every 1 lineal foot of decking. For example, 40 feet of decking would require 30 Start/Stop Clips.

Trex Hideaway Hidden Fasteners are designed exclusively for use with Trex decking. The use of other hidden fastener systems with Trex grooved boards may damage the board or result in the boards not being adequately fastened to the joist system.

A Groove Cutter is available for use on non-grooved boards that allows for a groove to be routed that accommodates Trex Hideaway Hidden Fasteners. The Groove Cutter can be used on Trex Contours^®, Trex Origins^®, Trex Accents^® and Trex Brasilia^® deck boards.
